Michael Robison has directed CHESAPEAKE SHORES for Hallmark, TAKE TWO for ABC, THE ORIGINALS for The CW, KILLJOYS for SyFy plus multiple episodes of NIKITA, BEAUTY AND THE BEAST, EUREKA, KYLE XY and the THE DEAD ZONE.

As a visual storyteller, Robison began his career directing action/adventure documentaries. His award winning films featured world-class athletes set against the spectacular scenery of British Columbia. As a former ski coach and pro-patroller, he specialized in ski films for winter resorts such as Whistler.

With expertise in non-linear editing, he became an editor on HBO’s horror anthology TALES FROM THE CRYPT working with Robert Zemeckis, Richard Donner, Walter Hill and Joel Silver. From there, he directed such cult series as THE HITCHHIKER for HBO and THE OUTER LIMITS for Showtime. Along the way, he’s worked with directors such as Michael Crichton, Phillip Noyce and Nicolas Roeg.

Robison also has a new podcast out on Audible — DEATH BY UNKNOWN EVENT, based on a true crime seasonal anthology TV series he’s developing for Skybound Entertainment. Narrated by Pamela Adlon, the podcast delves into the mysterious death of Vancouver nurse Cindy James.
